Uses of Viraday Tablet

Viraday Tablet is used to treat HIV-1 infection.

Introduction to Viraday Tablet

Viraday Tablets contain two active substances, Emtricitabine and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate. These medications are a part of the standard combination therapy for HIV, known as antiretroviral therapy (ART). It is a combination drug regimen that is commonly used for the effective treatment of HIV-1 infection. When used correctly and consistently, Viraday tablets have demonstrated high efficacy in HIV treatment and prevention.

Antiviral medications help postpone the effects of AIDS and enhance the overall quality of life. For individuals with high viral loads, this combo therapy is ideal. Although this medication greatly lowers the risk of viral infection, it does not treat HIV, and there are still chances that HIV will spread to other individuals. It is given to adults and kids over the age of 12 with a body weight of more than 35 kg.

These should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity or severe allergic reactions to Emtricitabine, Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, or any medication components. This medication is not recommended in individuals with severe renal impairment or end-stage renal disease who are not receiving hemodialysis.

Therapeutic Effects of Viraday Tablet

Viraday Tablet has therapeutic effects in treating HIV infection and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). They work by inhibiting HIV replication, reducing viral load, improving immune function, and slowing the progression of HIV disease. In individuals with HIV, these medications help control the virus, maintain a low viral load, and improve overall health outcomes.
