Opsutan tablet contain an active ingredient called macitentan. It belongs to a group of medicines called endothelin receptor antagonists. It is used to treat long-term treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) (high blood pressure in the arteries within lungs) in adults. It can be used alone or along with other medicines for PAH.
The safety and effectiveness of the drug have not been established in children, hence it is not recommended in children.
